教你征服英語四級考試翻譯失分點

　　漢譯英這部分不難，考生只要把握以下三步就可以：
　　第一步，判斷句與句之間的關係。漢譯英句子之間一般存在以下五種關係：
　　第一種關係是並列，顯著詞是“和”，對應英文是and, or, as well as etc。
　　第二種關係是轉折，顯著詞是“然而”，對應英文是but, yet, however, while etc。
　　第三種關係是讓步，顯著詞是“儘管”，對應英文是although, though, even though, even if etc。
　　第四種關係是因果，顯著詞是“因為”“如此---以至於---”， 對應英文because, so---that--- etc。
　　第五種關係是目的，顯著詞是“為了”，對應英文是in order that---
　　第二步，以動詞為切入點，名詞輔之。也就是說，判斷完句與句之間關係，下一步要先翻譯句子中的動詞，然後翻譯名詞。
　　那麼一個句子主謂賓也就相對完整了。注意動詞要注意時態，名詞要注意單複數。
　　第三步，補全成分——定、狀、補。
　　例如：
　　1.這位藝術家聚精會神於***自己的***工作，以至於沒有聽到來訪者進了房間。
　　***1***由連線詞“以至於” 判斷前後句子之間屬於因果關係，對應的英語為so ---that---
　　***2***動詞為切入點：“聚精會神”、“聽到某人做某事”、“進入”，依次為“be absorbed in sth”、“hear sb do sth”、“enter”；名詞輔之“藝術家”artist；“工作”work；“來訪者”visitor；“房間”room。
　　***3***補全成分：定於“自己的”his。
　　於是連線成句如下所示：
　　The artist was so absorbed in his work that he didn’t hear the visitor enter the room。
　　2.他們對工作沒有安全感，因為政府並不保護他們使之免遭失業。
　　***1***由連線詞“因為” 判斷前後句子之間屬於因果關係，對應的英語為because。
　　***2*** 動詞為切入點：“對——沒有安全感”、“保護——免遭——”、依次為“do not have/has security in sth”、“protect from sth/doing sth”；名詞輔之“他們”they；“工作”work/job；“失業”unemployment；“政府”government。
　　***3***補全成分：無
　　於是連線成句如下所示：
　　They do not have security in their job, because the government doesn’t protect them from unemployment。
　　3.他們確實是[實驗中]失敗了四次，但他們[仍在]努力工作[並最終會]獲得成功。
　　***1***由連線詞“但”判斷前後句子之間屬於轉折關係，對應的英語為but/however/yet。
　　***2***動詞為切入點：“確實是”、“失敗了”、“努力工作”、“獲得”依次為“it is true that”、“fail”、“work hard”、“achieve”；名詞輔之“他們”they；“四次”four times；“成功”success。
　　***3***補全成分：狀語“實驗中”in the experiment、“仍在”be doing/still、“並最終會”finally/eventually/in the end。
　　於是連線成句如下所示：
　　It is true that they have failed four times in the experiment, but they are working hard and may eventually achieve success./may succeed in the end。
