:我的夢想
jMy Dream
Everyone has a lot of dreams. Some people want to be rich, dreaming of becoming millionaires overnight. Others want to be famous, dreaming of suddenly jumping to great fame. I have a lot of dreams, too. When I was a young girl, I dreamed of becoming a scientist like Hua Luogen in future.
However, I knew very well that I could not succeed without painstaking efforts. So I studied hard in the middle school and college in order to attain my goal.
After graduating from college, I found a job as a teacher.Although I was very busy with teaching, I never gave up my goal. I read a lot of books to get more knowledge. I made experiments to practise and apply what I had learnt from the books. Sometimes, I was so deeply indulged in my research that I forgot my meals and time. Now I have made great progress. Several of my research papers have been published. The methods proposed in my papers have been proven to be valuable for the solution of some problems. I am very happy. The ladder of becoming a scientist is still far ahead, but I have climbed the first rung anyway.
:為什麼學生們渴望上大學
Students long to attend colleges or universities for various reasons. In my opinion, the most common reasons are to prepare for a career, to have new experiences and learn to be independent.
Career preparation is becoming more and more important to young people. For many, this is the primary reason to go to college. They know that the job market is competitive and in order to be employed in the future they have to be well equipped with knowledge and skills.
Also, students go to colleges or universities to have experiences and learn to live on their own. Going to colleges often means having the opportunity to meet with different people from different parts of the country. They learn to communicate and co-operate with each other. For most students, we guess, it is the first time that they have been away from home. They are faced with many new situations and have to learn to solve them independently, making decisions on their own and dealing with various things themselves. So colleges and universities help them grow up.
Surely, colleges and universities become their first choice.
:中學生的雙休日
This form displays the result of a survey on how to spend students’ weekend. It says that few students are glued to their schoolwork any more. Instead, they prefer to surf on the internet, watch TV, go shopping rather than involve in sports games. Library and interest groups are available but not favourable.
Personally I think, students are now freed from heavy burden but their spare time is not well arranged. They are expected to spend some time on what they learn instead of hanging out. More time should be spent not only on green field but also in the libraries to build up themselves physically and mentally. Besides, more interest groups should be established for students to widen their horizon and sharpen their brains so that they can become more creative eventually. All these will contributes a lot to a well-informed and highly qualified teenager.
In conclusion, students should be more scheduled with colorful and fruitful activities.
:關於自主招生公佈學生成績或排名的看法
With the adoption of the quality-education policy, many advanced teaching methods have been introduced to China, Meanwhile, many middle schools still find a good way to publicize to scores and ranks to introduce good candidates to key universities fairly.
Competition is part of our modern life. If I know the exact position where I am, I will spare no effort to catch up with others. Besides, we will face the pressure that making scores publicized applies to us. We, Senior Three students, have no choice but to adapt ourselves to all the pressure, which helps us develop our full personality.
Though no one is to blame except myself if the ranks are made known, test scores are private. In many experts’ eyes, individual student should have his own right of privacy.
It’s time for education authority to create a better environment to promote quality-education, where every student can really improve himself.

You have been taking good care of me during the past 18 years and in your eyes I’m a good boy who is always willing to follow your advice. But this time I do hope that you can allow me to make my own decision.

Not only do they admire these distinguished scholars but also they can share the advanced teaching facilities and reference resources. In addition, graduates from Tsinghua are bound to have more chances to find rewarding jobs.
