　　1：an unforgettable thing

　　I still remember that thing a few yearslater and feel afraid. It happened on my way to play. It was Sunday. I wouldlike to Maggie’s home for a visit. However, when I passed a river, I saw three childrenat my age playing in the river. How happy they were! At that time, I had a ideathat I would like to ask Maggie to go swimming with me in the river. Suddenly,something scare happened. One the three chiledren slipped and the other twowanted to help him. Unfortunately, all of them were struggling. I was shock. Andthen I rushed to the river bank immediately. However, I saw nothing but thepeaceful river. I knew what happened. I was frightened. A few hours later I heardthe death of them. I was so frightened and sad　that I have never go never any river sincethen.

　　多年後我仍然記得那件事，仍然感到害怕。它發生在我出去玩的路上。那是一個星期日。我想去瑪吉家。然而，在我路過一條河的時候，我看到三個與我年紀相仿的孩子在河裡玩。他們是多麼的開心啊!在那個時候，我有一個想法，我要叫瑪吉和我一起到河裡游泳。突然，發生了一些恐怖的事情。其中一個孩子滑倒了，另外兩個想去幫他。不幸的是他們三個都一起在水裡掙扎。我呆住了。然後我立刻衝到河邊。但是，除了平靜的河面我什麼都沒看見。我知道發生了什麼事。我嚇壞了。幾個小時後，我聽到他們死亡的訊息。我很害怕很傷心以至於從那以後我從來沒有走近過任何河流。

　　2：My Present Work

　　Now,I’m working in a water factory. My duty is to operate the machines. I'm always sobusy with my work. In order to get a decent wage, I have to work ten hours aday or fourteen hours a night. It seems so tiring, but I think this is the mostsuitable job for me, for I have the strong responsibilities.

　　我現在在一個水廠工作。我的職責是操作機器。我的工作總是很忙。為了得到一個體面的工資，我一天工作十小時或一個晚上工作十四小時。似乎很累，但是我覺得這對我來說是最適合的工作，因為我有強烈的責任感。

　　Everyday, I come to my workplace with a smile and get off work happily. Mycolleagues are very kind to me. They always teach me some important workskills. And they are willing to help me when I have difficulties. Although Imake mistakes sometimes, they still offer their helpful hands to me, so I canwork with them very well.

　　每天我都是面帶微笑的上班，開開心心的下班。我的同事都對我很好。他們總是教我一些重要的工作技能。　在我遇到困難時，他們都很樂意幫助我。雖然有時我會犯錯誤，但他們是願意幫助我，所以我能和他們很好的在一起工作。

　　Atlast, I'm happy to work, because happiness comes from hard work.

　　3：My Deskmate

　　ChenMo is my desk mate who is a good student in the eyes of classmates andteachers. She is the first one to get to school every day. Usually, she spendshalf an hour in learning English that takes us much to remember vocabularies andread the articles. Moreover, she not only focuses on her own study, but alsohelps other students in need. Classmates like asking her for help, because sheis always ready for help. However, I prefer to regard her as my friend ratherthan desk mate. We communicate with each other frequently after class. We discussour study as well as share our lives. She is desperately interested in playingbadminton, so do I. We would play badminton very Friday after class, whichhelps us relax ourselves as well build our body. It’s so great to have a deskmate that has interest in common.

　　陳茉是我的同桌，她是老師和同學眼裡的好學生。她每天都是第一個到教室的。通常，她會花半個小時學習英語。英語需要花比較多的時間去記單詞和讀課文。陳茉不僅專注於自己的學習，也積極幫助其他有需要的同學。同學們喜歡找她幫忙，因為她總是那麼樂於助人。但是，在我眼裡，她不僅是我的同桌，更是我的朋友。課後，我們經常相互交流，討論學習問題或是分享彼此的生活。她很喜歡打羽毛球，我也一樣。我們常常會在週五下課後打羽毛球，這不僅能使我們得到放鬆，也有益於我們的身體健康。能有一個擁有相同興趣愛好的同桌真是太好了。
