　　初次見面，一般採用握手的禮節。握手者雙目注視對方，微笑，問候，致意，不要看第三者或顯得心不在焉。除了關係親近的人可以長久地把手握在一起外，一般都是握一下即可。上下級之間，上級伸手後，下級才能接握;主人與客人之間，主人宜主動伸手;男女之間，女方伸手後，男方才能伸手相握;當然，如果男方為長者，則遵照前面所說的方法。

　　不要使自己有緊盯或逼視對方的樣子，才被認為有禮貌。與人談話時，不要用手指指人，不宜與對方離得太遠或太近。不要過於興奮，過多的手勢會被認為不得體。

　　對女士衣飾可予以讚揚，但不要問人家是花多少錢買來的等問題。

　　要牢記對方的姓名和職位。

　　為使交談進行下去，可以開始純屬交際性的談話，如天氣等，這在很多國家都是可行的。
