　　A:Yesterday I had a quarrel with my roommate. I'm really fed up with all this.

　　A:昨天我與室友吵了一架。我真的受夠了這一切。

　　B:Tell me what seems to be the problem.

　　B:跟我說說是怎麼事。

　　A:My roommate always brings a lot of friends from off-campus. They stay in the room until midnight, singing and talking, drinking and playing cards while I have no place for study. I even don't have the quietness to sleep.

　　A:我的室友總是帶些校外的人來寢室。他們總是呆到午夜才走，唱歌、高談闊論、喝酒、打牌，而我卻沒地方學習了。我甚至無法安靜入睡。

　　B:Did you ever talk to him about it?

　　B:你有沒有找他談過?

　　A:Yes, I did. He promised me not to bring his friends to our bedroom any more, or if he has to, he should let them go before 10 0'clock.

　　A:談過。他答應我不再帶他的朋友來寢室，如果非要帶的話，會叫他們十點以前就走。

　　B:Did he bring many people in yesterday evening?

　　B:他昨天晚上是不是叉帶了很多人來?

　　A:That's right. It really made my blood boil when he asked me to go to the library to study. I was coming to the end of my patience. So I shouted at his friends. They were all shocked at my anger and left at once.

　　A:是的。讓我怒火中燒的是他竟然叫我到圖書館去看書。我的忍耐終於到了極限，就衝著他的朋友喊了起來。他們都被我的憤怒嚇住了，立刻就走了。

　　B:So how did you start the quarrel?

　　A:He told me that I was interfering in his business. It's too much for me.

　　A:他對我說我多管閒事，我受不了了。

　　B:OK. I understand your situation. I will consider arranging you to another bedroom.

　　B:好吧，我能體會到你的處境，我會考慮把你安排到另一個寢室去的。

　　A:That radio's pretty loud. Could you turn it down, please?

　　B:He should know that this is against the Labor Law in our country. Legally, employees should get double pay if asked to do extra work during the weekend or on holidays.

　　A:We all know about that, but we have no choice. The chairman of the trade union says he is going to negotiate with the management.

　　A:我們都知道，可就是沒辦法。工會主席說要和老闆談談。

　　B:I suggest that you go to the lawyers' office to get some help.

　　B:我建議你們去律師事務所求助。

　　A:That's a good idea. I think we will soon come to a solution to the problem.
