　　意思：午餐喝酒不吃飯

　　用法: “Mate, I’mabsolutely battered, I had a liquid lunch andnow I have to go back to work. I’ve fucked it.” 老兄，我現在真的很崩潰。中午喝了酒沒吃飯，現在卻要工作了。

　　意思：不對的，不公平的。

　　用法：“I can’t believe Barry leftjust before it was his turn to buy a round, that’s justnot cricket.”

　　10.see a man about a dog

　　意思：去了一個神祕的地方，通常指洗手間。
