　　各地過重陽節的風俗

　　重陽節在陝北正式收割的季節，有首歌唱道：“九月裡九重陽，收呀麼收秋忙。穀子呀，糜子呀，上呀麼上了場”。陝北過重陽在晚上，白天是一整天的收割、打場。晚上月上樹梢，人們喜愛享用蕎麵熬羊肉，待吃過晚飯後，人們三三兩兩地走出家門，爬上附近山頭，點上火光，談天說地，待雞叫才回家。夜裡登山，許多人都摘幾把野菊花，回家插在女兒的頭上，以之避邪。

　　在福建莆仙，人們沿襲舊俗，要蒸九層的重陽米果，我國古代就有重陽“食餌”之俗，“餌”即今之糕點、米果之類。宋代《玉燭寶典》雲：“九日食餌，飲菊花酒者，其時黍、秫並收，以因粘米嘉味觸類嘗新，遂成積習”。清初莆仙詩人宋祖謙《閩酒麴》曰：“驚聞佳節近重陽，纖手攜籃拾野香。玉杵搗成綠粉溼，明珠顆顆喚郎嘗”。近代以來，人們又把米果改製為一種很有特色的九重米果。將優質晚米用清水淘洗，浸泡2小時，撈出瀝乾，摻水磨成稀漿，加入明礬***用水溶解***攪拌，加紅板糖***摻水熬成糖濃液***，而後置於蒸籠於鍋上，鋪上潔淨炊布，然後分九次，舀入米果漿，蒸若干時即熟出籠，米果面抹上花生油。此米果分九層重疊，可以揭開，切成菱角，四邊層次分明，呈半透明體，食之甜軟適口，又不粘牙，堪稱重陽敬老的最佳禮饌。

　　重陽節小故事

　　《舊唐書·王勃傳》記載：王勃的《滕王閣序》就是在重陽節這一天寫出來的。當時王勃的父親擔任交趾令，王勃前往探視父親，九月九日路過南昌時，洪州州牧閻伯嶼正在重修的滕王閣中宴請賓客及部屬，他想誇耀女婿吳子章***孟學士***的才氣，便事先拿出紙筆請賓客動筆作序，所有的賓客都知道他的用意，沒有人敢作。卻不料王勃事先並不知道州牧的用心，於是毫不謙讓接過紙筆。州牧原本心中十分生氣，立即派人在旁邊看王勃書寫，誰知道王勃才氣不凡，蓄積已久的心情完全發洩出來，文章越寫越好，當寫到「落霞與孤鶩齊飛，秋水共長天一色」的詞句時，忍不住拍案叫絕!王勃從此一舉名震詩壇。
