　　A：The air is humid. Oh, look at the thermometer. It's 30℃ now.

　　B：Only 30? Then the temperature isn't as high as it was yesterday. It went up to 32℃ yesterday, but it was not so uncomfortable. I wonder why.

　　才30度?那溫度不如昨天高。昨天高達32攝氏度，可是沒那麼不舒服。我想知道這是為什麼。

　　A：I suppose the humidity is higher today. Look at the sweat on my forehead.

　　B：On such a day an hour's nap will do us a great deal of good.

　　A：Hi, Kim. I can’t believe that the summer is almost over.

　　B：I know. Time flies!

　　A：Friday is a holiday. Let’s take advantage of the long weekend. Do you want to go to New York? We could leave Thursday night and spend the whole weekend in the city.

　　B：Okay. But I’d rather go on Friday. I have to get my car fixed on Thursday.

　　B：I haven’t either. Let’s make the most of our weekend.

　　A：We can go sightseeing during the day. In the evening we can go to a play. Do you think we can get tickets?

　　B：I don’t think we stand a chance. It’s hard to get tickets on weekends. Anyway, we can try.

　　A：It doesn’t matter. There are hundreds of things to do in New York, especially during a holiday.

　　A：Yeah, the heat is unbearable! It’s really hot!
