曾國藩為官處世39字訣

　　Hasty love, soon cold.

　　一見傾心難維久。

　　No man is wise at all times.

　　聰慧一世，糊塗一時。

　　Prefer loss to unjust gain.

　　寧肯吃虧，不貪廉價。

　　Nothing brave, nothing have.

　　不入虎穴，焉得虎子。

　　Short accounts make long friends.

　　好友人勤算賬。

　　One good turn deserves another.

　　行善積德。

　　Praise is not pudding.

　　奉承話不能當飯吃。

　　A little leak will sink a great ship.

　　千丈之堤潰於蟻穴。

　　白日不做虧心事，夜半敲門心不驚。

　　一朝被蛇咬，十年怕井繩。
