　　Jenny is my desk-mate. She is a hard-working girl. When she was twelve years old, she won the first in a city-wide poetry recitation contest. Now she is chairman of the Student Union in our school. She's such a lovely girl that I enjoy talking with her to share her ideas.

　　We have several teachers of English since we began to study in middle school. But it seems to me that the present teacher of English is the best one we have known so far. She is never tired of helping us in our studies. She patiently answers our questions. She had years of experience in teaching.

　　She teaches us how to write in simple, clear and correct English, and to make ourselves understood to English speaking people. She has made a deep impression on us all.

　　My father is a kind man. He is not very tall but he is a man of perseverance. He works very hard and his services are highly appreciated.

　　My father is a man of devotion. Every morning he gets up the earliest to make breakfast for us. In the evening, he is always the late to come back home. At weekends, he always takes us to go outing in his car. He is a man of few words, but he often says to me "A little learning is a dangerous thing". I will always remember these words.

　　Different people have different lifestyles. They do the same things from morning to evening every day. Usually, they write their plans on paper. But sometimes they remember what things they will do in their minds. I also have my own lifestyle. It is wonderful! I get up early on weekdays, and do the school things then. But at the weekend, I never get up early. I sometimes stay in bed until lunchtime. One day, I stayed in bed very late. It was a weekday. The clock rang. It was six thirty. But I didn’t hear it. I stayed in bed until seven o’clock. I looked at the clock and jumped from the bed to the floor. I was afraid, “Oh, my God, I will be late.” I shouted. So I didn’t have breakfast. I put on my shoes and took a taxi to the school. I was in good luck that day. I wasn’t late for school. I was pleased that time. I think I should get up earlier on weekdays or I will be late. 　　The biggest problem that I have is my mother. Yes, my mother loves me a lot, but I just wish she would not worry about me all the time. She would ask me about my school, my friends, my health, and every other details of my day and my life. I feel very lucky sometimes that my mother cares about me so much, but there are times that I feel tired of answering her endless questions. Maybe I can do better so that she has fewer reasons to worry; or maybe I just have to have more patience with her and try to enjoy her attention.
