　　There are many characteristic exist in the world, and characteristic is very important to people. For example, active, persistence, optimistic makes people successful; lazy, passive makes people fail. Having a good characteristic means you have the key to the successful door, but you have to find the way of success. This is what I am going to talk about, the key to success: persistence.

　　世界上有許多種性格，性格對人們來說是很重要的。比如，積極，有毅力，樂觀能讓人成功;懶惰，消極讓人失敗。有個好的個性意味著你有了通向成功之門的鑰匙，但你需要尋找成功之路。這就是我要說的，成功的鑰匙：毅力。

　　Persistence is a key to success, whether for a single person or an organization. People who lack of it would mean failure in reaching a certain goal. People need to know that success seldom comes easily on the first try; they should have the patient to insist trying until they get the goal. Unsuccessful people try something just a few times, and when it fails, they give up; they usually pass the blame onto someone or something, and learn nothing from their experience. Successful people are different, even they fail, and they won’t lose their passion.

　　毅力是成功的關鍵，無論是對個人還是群體來說。缺少這個的人意味著沒有特定的目標。人們要知道成功在一開始不是那麼容易的，他們應該耐心地堅持嘗試直到成功為止。失敗的人只會嘗試幾次，然後一失敗，他們就會放棄，他們通常都會把這個歸根於其他人或其他事。成功人士就不會這樣，就算他們失敗了，也不會失去熱情。

　　Let me take a famous person to example. His name is Da Vinci, he is known as a great painter, artist. Everyone knows him, but I think there are not much people known that how much effort did he made before he became a famous artist. Da Vinci draw eggs everyday when he was young, hundreds and thousands times a day. It is definite a boring work, many people could not bear to face an egg and draw it in different angle thousands times. But Da Vinci did it, and he made it. We could say it is not for his persistence that he would not get the great aptitude for painting.

　　我用個名人來打比方。他的名字叫達芬奇，是位偉大的畫家，藝術家。每個人都知道他，但是我想不是很多人知道他在成名之前付出過多大的努力。達芬奇小時候每天都畫雞蛋，一天成百上千地畫。這無疑是非常無聊的，許多人都無法忍受一天要對著一個雞蛋畫不同的角度上千次。但是達芬奇做到了，也成功了。我們可以說要不是他持之以恆，他就沒有那麼厲害的繪畫天資。

　　Talent is a gift from god, persistence is a key you’ve got, and effort makes those working which bring you to open the door of success.

　　People say that self-confidence is half of the success that can bring you courage to stick to what you do. Without self-confidence, one can not do well in anything. Self-confidence is of great importance and value to a person.

　　人們說自信是成功的一半，它能給你帶來勇氣去堅持你所做的事。沒有自信，一個人就不能做好任何事。自信對一個人很重要也很有價值。

　　Firstly, self-confidence enables us to have the ambition of being successful. Only when you have the ambition to be successful, can you be successful eventually. Secondly, once we gain self-confidence, we will possess the courage and strength to overcome the setbacks and difficulties. With self-confidence, no one and nothing can stop you to success.Thirdly, with self-confidence we may accomplish something which seems to be impossible previously. No great thing is easy for us, therefore we should hold the idea that anything is possible. We should, or have to trust in ourselves.

　　首先，自信使我們擁有成功的雄心。只有當你有成功的野心的時候，你最後才能成功。其次，一旦我們獲得了自信，我們就擁有了勇氣和力量去克服挫折和困難。有了自信，沒有人也沒有什麼能夠阻止你成功。再次，有了自信我們可能實現一些以前看起來不可能的事。沒有什麼大事對我們是容易的，因此我們應該相信一切皆有可能。我們應該，或者必須相信自己。

　　In short, self-confidence is the spiritual pillar of a person as well as the inherent power, which is of great importance and value to a person.

　　總之，自信是一個人的精神支柱也是一個人的內在力量，它對一個人很重要也很有價值。

　　There are no two identical people exist in the world, but most successful people are similar in many ways. Good character is the foundation of success. Most of successful people are modest, diligent and creative etc. In my opinion, being confident, honest, and persevere are the three important keys to the door of success.

　　在這個世界上沒有完全相同的兩個人，但大多數成功人士在許多方面是相似的。良好的性格是成功的基礎。大多數成功人士都是謙虛,勤奮有創造性等等。在我看來,自信,誠實,和堅持是開啟成功大門的三條重要的鑰匙。

　　There is an old saying that confident is the first step to succeed. Suppose that a person is not confident, how he gets trust from others. A singer singing in the stage without nervous means he is confident. Public speakers express their opinions to others without tension which also means he is confident. Confidence offers people courage to overcome difficulties, what’s more, if people believe themselves, they may meet more opportunities that they had never thought about.

　　有句老話說,自信是成功的第一步。如果一個人不自信,他如何得到他人的信任。一個歌手在舞臺上唱歌沒有感到緊張意味著他有信心。在公共演講上表達自己的觀點而不緊張,也意味著他是自信的。自信給人們提供了克服困難的勇氣,更重要的是,如果人們相信自己,他們可能會遇到更多他們從來沒想過的機會,。

　　The second key helps people succeed is honesty. There is no denying that most of friendships are based on honesty and most of businesses are based on friendship. Honest people are easy to get others’ respect and people often prefer to cooperate with the honest ones rather than liars. It’s obvious that no one could tolerate a friend always tell lies. China have a famous story which is about a shepherd boy who wants to play farmers and lie to them a wolf is coming. After he lies to them twice, a wolf is really appears, when he asks them for help, no one believe him anymore.

　　第二個有助於成功的因素是誠實。無法否認大多數的友誼是建立於誠實的基礎上，而大多數的事業是基於友誼上的。 誠實的人很容易得到別人的尊重，人們往往喜歡跟那些老實的人而不是謊話連篇的人合作。很顯然，沒有人能容忍一個總是說謊的朋友。中國有一個著名的關於一個牧童的故事，說的是他想戲弄農民就向他們撒謊說謊狼來了。他撒了兩次謊之後，狼真的出現了，但當他求助的時候，再沒有人相信他了。

　　Beside what I talk about above, I consider that perseverance is an essential personality to people who want to succeed. Everyone will meet problems, but not everyone could insist. In fact, perseverance is another attitude which belongs to optimistic. A famous saying is that difficulty is like a spring which weakens in face of a strong-willed but strengthens in face of a faint-hearted. When people run into problems, as long as they persevere, they will be closed to success.

　　除了上面我所提到的，我認為毅力是想取得成功的重要性格。每個人都會遇到的問題，但並不是每個人都能堅持。事實上，毅力是另一種樂觀的態度是。有一句名言說的是，困難就像彈簧，你弱它就強。在人們遇到問題時，只要持之以恆，就會成功。

　　To conclusion, everyone has his personality. Kindhearted people make others feel warm, and humorous guys bring happiness to people; enthusiastic ones could easy be on good terms with others. Sometimes people’s personality decide who they are, even who they want to be.

　　總之，每個人都有自己的性格。善良的人讓人感到溫暖，幽默的人給人帶來開心;熱情的人可以很容易和別人好好的相處。有時候人的性格決定了他們是什麼樣的人，甚至是他們想成為什麼樣的人。
