　　Li Yan is kind-hearted and is always ready to help others,Any student in my class who has trouble in study likes asking her for help. But she doesn't like others to praise her, because she thinks what she did is ordinary.

　　When I was a child, I enjoyed reading books that were without words. The pictures and the color affected me. When I was a pupil, I liked reading books about science. The knowledge and the magic things attracted me. When I was a student, I preferred to read novels. They were full of action and exciting. The plots were interesting.

　　Now I still love books. They make my life become more and more wonderful. Different kinds of books bring me different feelings. They are my best friends. I can get knowledge from books. I can read books whenever and wherever I want.For the time being, I enjoy reading comics best. Because studying is hard and tiring, I feel relaxed when I am reading comics. 　　I have many friends, but Jim is one of my best friends. He is not handsome, but kind-hearted. We know each other at primary school. He was the tallest in our class at that time. He is good at study and playing basketball, while bad at playing table tennis. Everytime he has delicious food, he will give it to me. Moreover, whenever I feel sad, he will play with me and comfort me. However, he is not spoilt me. For example, everytime I meet difficulties in study, I would like to copy his, but no matter what I say, he never give his homework to me to copy. Instead he teaches how to do it. All in all, no matter what difficulties I meet, he will help me. It is him make me realize that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

　　我有很多朋友，不過吉姆是我最好的朋友之一。他長得不帥，但是很善良。我們在小學的時候就互相認識了。那時，他是我們班裡最高的。他的學習成績很好。他很擅長打籃球但是乒乓球卻打得很爛。每次有好吃的他都讓給我吃。而且每次我不開心的時候他都會陪我玩，安慰我。但是他並不寵溺我，比如說，在做作業的時候我遇到不懂的就總想抄他的，那個時候不管我怎麼求他，他從來都沒給我抄過作業，而是教我如何去寫。總之不管我遇到什麼困難，他都會幫助我。他讓我明白了患難見真情。
