　　1、賽龍舟是端午節的一項重要活動，在我國南方十分流行，它最早當是古越族人祭水神或龍神的一種祭祀活動，其起源有可能始於原始社會末期。

　　2、端午是個美好的節日，在這並不美好的現實中可以寄寓一些幽思，讓凡塵矇蔽的心，在青色的古意間得到片刻的迴歸，認取生命中的真意，可以讓生命更加真實一些。

　　3、端午是傳統節日，在莆田就有這麼一首不和諧的童謠，五月初一便拉開了端午節的序幕。從初一開始，家家戶戶都開始忙碌起來，準備端午節的用品，雖然不是很多，其中最讓人眼饞的自然要屬端午中的美食了。

　　4、端午節早晨，起床後，母親在我們的手腕和腳踝上纏上五彩的絲線，今後一直帶著，據說可以去病除邪。其實在我心裡，這些五彩的絲線在我心裡是那些精美手鐲的替代品。有些人家也會花些錢給自己的小孩買香荷包帶在身上，我的母親是自己親手用些小布頭做的，裡面塞些棉花，放些香草，即便是這樣我們也很高興。

　　5、端午節那天，媽媽都會用根根細繩細緻地編成筐，按以往的習俗，編8個層，奶奶煮好蛋後就拿出3個最光滑的。底層放一個，接著是桃子。每種都是3個，用了6層。第2層就是一個步老虎，是看護這些東西的。最後掛在門口，按照長輩說的，紀念屈原。取下來時，就把筐整理好，放在一個盒子裡，與比她早出生的姐妹團聚。
