　　The Spring Festival is my most favorite festival, because it’s time for family gathering. And the Spring Festival is a new start of a year. It brings me hope and courage. On Spring Festival, my parents usually take me back to my hometown. My hometown is a small town. Many of my relatives move to the larger cities, but we usually go home when the Spring Festival comes. During the gathering, we share our lives with others and care about each other. Of course, big meals are necessary. Families prepare for the big meals together. They all cook their specialty dishes. Therefore, our meals are always delicious. We often stay at home for three days and then we leave with others’ wishes. I like the Spring Festival, because I like family gathering.

　　春節是我最喜歡的節日，因為它是家人團聚的日子。春節也是一年中新的開始，它帶給我希望和勇氣。在春節這一天，我父母經常帶我回老家。我的老家是一個小鎮。我很多親戚都搬到大城市去了，但是春節的時候我們經常回老家。團聚之時，我們相互分享各自的生活，互相關心。當然，大餐是少不了的。全家人一起準備豐盛的晚餐。他們都煮自己擅長的菜。所以，我們的晚餐總是很美味。我們通常在家一起待上三天，然後帶著各自的祝福離開。我喜歡春節，因為我喜歡家人團聚。

　　The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past，people could not often have meat，rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

　　春節對中國人來說非常重要。在過去，人們往往沒有肉，大米或其他美味的食物吃。他們通常只能在春節吃到這些。所以每年他們都希望春節可以快點來。現在，雖然人們的生活好多了，我們每天都可以吃美味的食物。人們仍然喜歡的春節。因為大多數人可以有一個很長的假期，我們可以自由地去旅行或拜訪我們的朋友或與我們的家人聚會。晚上，我們可以在餐廳大吃一頓，或與家人留在家裡看電視節目。
