  篇一

  Dear Sara,

I'm very happy to visit Beijing again. Great changes have taken place in Beijing.

Yesterday, I went to visit Xinming Primary School-I had studied there for nearly two years. Maybe you don't believe. I couldn't find the way there. A taxi driver took me there in the end. He said, "Beijing changes too much. Sometimes even a Beijinger can't find his way."

Now English is spoken everywhere in Beijing. Many people go to English classes in the evening schools, and some of them can speak very good English. They are looking to the 2008 Olympic Games and getting ready for it. I'm sure the 2008 Olympic Games can be held in Beijing successfully.

  Yours,

  Wang

  Dear Tony,

Today I’d like to introduce to you my school, Xinghua High School. Located at the bank of the Jialing River, it is one of the best key schools in Chongqing. Hailed as ‘the fertile soil for talents and cradle of academicians’, where enormous numbers of celebrities have been fostered and immense contributions have been made to the China’s rise to the world power, Xinhua enjoys tremendous prominence both at home and abroad.

The reason why my school is so successful lies in many aspects. First, not only various compulsory courses of high quality are offered, but also a wide range of fabulous optional courses are available, significantly helping develop students’ special talents and interests. Second, you can find scores of student clubs and interest groups on campus. Dynamic teenagers can been seen everywhere engaging in all sorts of after-school activities. We believe not only are academic achievements important but also all-round abilities matter. Besides, with International Department founded in recent years, more and more international-oriented students spring up year by year.

All in all, Xinhua is a school where whole-person education is practiced and where students strive to make a difference in all wales of life. Hopefully you can come to visit it next month, when it will mark its 80th anniversary this year.

  Yours,

  Li Hua
