　　I am a girl from southern China. I usually choose clothes according to the seasons of the year. In my hometown, it is usually warm in spring, and I often wear a blouse with jeans. In summer, it’s very hot , so I always choose a cotton T-shirt and a skirt , or a dress. Clothes made of cotton can make people feel cooler. It’s cool in fall. Sportswear make me comfortable. It’s a little cold in winter. My favorite clothes are sweaters and coats.

　　Last summer vocation, I went to Hang zhou. The weather there was not very hot.I went to visit the West Lake. It’s very beautiful. I had great fun boating on the lake.I ate lots of different kinds of food. I like them very much. I like to talk with the people there because they were very friendly. I had an exciting vocation in Hangzhou and I hope I can go there next summer.

　　Jim is ill last week. We went to see him. He was very glad. He said he stayed there alone for two days. He was nervous about the test at the end of this month because he missed lots of lesssons. And the bad weather affected his feelings, too.?We asked him to take it easy because we could take turns to help him with his lessons. And we would bring some CDs to him so that he could listen to music. He was very pleased.

　　It’s July23. Today I am16 years old. I am going to have a party at home and I am waiting for all my friends to come. They are going to bring?lots of beautiful presents with them.

　　My parents are preparing a lot of nice things to eat and drink. At the party we are going to play games, sing songs, dance and listen to music. I think we will have a good time.

　　Yesterday was Sunday. May13, Mother’s Day.I got up early in the morning and then went to the garden. I picked some beautiful flowers and give them to my mother, saying “Happy Mother’s Day”. She answered with a smile “Thank you.” My father bought her a nice skirt and a necklace.?In the afternoon we went to watch Beijing Opera together. In the evening we went to restaurant in the centre of the city and we had a nice meal there.On that day, we had a good time.
