　　My younger Brother 我的弟弟

　　I remember my brother as a sweet baby, bringing much fun and delight to the family with his pleasant gabbles of nonsense. He was a very likable chubby little thing, always on his feet climbing up and down, chasing after insects, birds, and me.

　　I do not recall him ever having any white clothes since he started school. He was extremely untidy, He used to come home with a face of smudges, an inkspattered shirt, a pair of dirt-bedraggled pants.

　　He did not care much for ready-made toys, and was very anxious to break them into bits, to satisfy his childish curiosity. But he treasured his sell-made toys, such as the slingshots which he used to break the glasses on the windows, and had receivedpunishments time and time again.

　　Keep Smiling 保持微笑

　　I think smiling is as important as sunshine. Smiling is like sunshine because it can make people happy and have a good day. If you aren’t happy, you can smile, and then you will feel happy. Someone may say, “But I don’t feel happy.” Then I would say, “Please smile as you do when you are happy or play with your friends happily. You will really be happy again.”

　　You don’t like crying, right? So you must prefer smiling, because you know smiling will let people forget everything unhappy. Every day, we see teachers or students and say, “Hi/Hello! How are you?” At the same time, you are smiling, right?

　　Smiling can let you have more friends. With a smile, people will know you’re a kind person. They will talk with you, so you will have more and more friends.

　　So I say, smiling is like a flower, the sunshine, warmth. It will give you happiness.

　　My best friend 我最好的朋友

　　Everybody has a best friend that they can share everything with.I also have a best friend.We met in school,and we're in the same grade.

　　My best friend is a good student because he is very hardworking.I learn a lot from him.He helps me with math;I help him with English.We always help each other.besides that,he's honest and reliable.I trust him completely and we share secrets all the time.

　　My best friend is also loyal and brave.Once when a bully teased me,he came to my rescue right away.He always remembers my birthday and he is fun to be with.He tells funny jokes and stories.He always makes me laugh.Finally,he is a very good listener and he knows how to cheer me up when I'm down.

　　My best friend is really one of a kind.I hope we'll stay friends forever.

　　Spring Festival 春節

　　Chinese Lunar New Year,or Spring Festival falls on January 1st according to the lunar calendar,usually around the late January or early February.As the start of spring as well as a new year,it is the most important celebration of the year.

　　Each family get reunited during the New Year.On the Eve,there is a big dinner for the family when each member return to get together.

　　The biggest New Year's party is held on CCTV.Hundreds of people gather there,meanwhile millions of others all over the country were sitting in front of the screen to watch excellent performances for more than four hours continuously.

　　The bell strike twelve at midnight to welcome the coming of the New Year or Spring.People start to set off firecraks and say "Happy New Year" to each other.
