　　When I was a child, I really want a pet, like ducks, rabbits, cats, dogs, even a pig!Finally, my parents bought me a puppy as my birthday gift. I really love it, it was really lovely. When I was tired, it always made me happy. I take it for a walk every evening. I was very happy when we get together.In a word, pets can bring us a lot of fun, they are important to us.

　　當我還是個孩子的時候，我真的很想要只寵物，例如鴨子、兔子、貓咪、小狗、甚至是小豬!後來，我爸媽買了只小狗給我做生日禮物。我真得很喜歡它。它真得很可愛。當我很累時，它總會讓我開心。每天晚上我都會帶它出去走走。我們在一起的時候很開心。總之，寵物們可以帶給我們歡樂，它們對我們很重要。

　　內容：親愛的日記 Dear Diary

　　I haven’t write diaries for a period of time. I am now writing this just want to remember one thing. My study has fallen behind a lot this term. I can keep my score in the top ten in the whole school ranking before. But this term I fall behind. I nearly draw back to fifty. I know the reason is because I am too arrogant. I think I can be the best without studying hard. So I usually not pay too much attention on my study. When I find myself lag behind, I comfort myself it is accident. I have learnt a serious lesson this time. So, I want to write it down to warn myself.

　　我已經有一段時間沒有寫日記了。我現在寫這篇日記只是想要記住一件事。這個學期我的學業落後了很多。我成績之前可以保持在全校前十名。但這個學期我後退了。我差點就退到了五十名了。我知道原因是我太自大了。我覺得我不努力學習也可以保持最好。所以我一般都不怎麼在意我的學習。當我發現自己落後時，我安慰自己只是意外。這一次我吸取了深刻的教訓。所以，我想把它寫下來以此警示著我。

　　What is the taste of home? Before I lodge in school dormitory, I never think of this question. But, now I know what the taste of home is as I have lived in school for a month. I miss the delicious food cooked by my mother and her endless chatter. My father sits in the middle of the hall watching TV. The fight between my two younger brothers and the ice cream in the refrigerator make me feel warm. All these make a house a family. And it is the taste of home in my mind.

　　什麼是家的味道?在我住校前，我從來沒有想過這個問題。但是，如今在我已經住校一個月後我知道什麼是家的味道了。我想念我媽媽做的美味食物了，還有她喋喋不休的嘮叨聲。爸爸坐在客廳中間看電視。兩個弟弟的打鬧聲還有冰箱裡的冰淇淋都讓我覺得很溫暖。所有這些都使得一個房子成為一個家。這些就是我心目中家的味道。
