　　Two Little Monkeys

　　兩隻猴子

　　The monkey mother has two little monkeys. She likes the younger, not the other.

　　猴媽媽生了兩個猴子。她喜歡年幼的小猴子而不喜歡年長的大猴子。

　　One day, they were playing in a forest when a wolf came，running at them. The monkey ran away with the younger monkey in a hurry and left the older alone. She climbed up a tree and held the younger in her arms.

　　一天，他們正在森林裡玩的時候，一隻狼來了並向他們撲去。猴子匆忙帶著小猴子跑了，單獨留下大猴子。她跑著小猴子爬到樹上。

　　After some time, the wolf went away slowly. The monkey took the baby out of her arms. She was surprised to see that the baby had died, for the baby was held in arms too highly. Very long time later, she remembered to look for the older baby. The older baby was hiding in a wood. So he saved himself.

　　過些時候，狼慢慢地離開了。母猴從他的懷裡放下小猴子。她吃驚的發現猴寶寶已經死了，因為小猴子在她的懷裡被摟地太緊了。過了很長時間，她才想起去尋找那隻大猴子。大猴子藏在一個大洞裡，他救了自己。

　　The Kingdom of the Lion獅子國王

　　THE BEASTS of the field and forest had a Lion as their king. He was neither wrathful, cruel, nor tyrannical, but just and gentle as a king could be. During his reign he made a royal proclamation for a general

　　assembly of all the birds and beasts, and drew up conditions for a universal league, in which the Wolf and the Lamb, the Panther and the Kid, the Tiger and the Stag, the Dog and the Hare, should live together in

　　perfect peace and amity. The Hare said, "Oh, how I have longed to see this day, in which the weak shall take their place with impunity by the side of the strong." And after the Hare said this, he ran for his life.

　　Three Good Friends

　　One day, a monkey rides his bike near the river. This time he sees a lion under a tree. The lion runs at him. He is afraid and falls into the river. He can’t swim. He shouts. The rabbit hears him. He jumps into the river. The rabbit swims to the monkey, but he can’t help him. Luckily, an elephant comes along. He is very strong. He helps the rabbit and monkey. Three friends are very happy. They go to the elephant’s home. Then, three of them become good friends.

　　一天，一隻猴子在河邊騎車。這時他看見樹下有一隻獅子，獅子向他跑來。他非常的害怕，掉進河裡。他不會游泳，大叫起來。兔子聽見了，跳進水裡，但他卻沒有辦法救猴子。幸運的是，一隻大象過來了。大象非常強壯，救出了兔子和猴子。他們來到大象的家，在那裡吃了一頓大餐。從此他們成了好朋友。
