　　Lord Ye's Love of the Dragon

　　There is a young man, Lord Ye. He likes dragons vey much. He draws many dragons in his house. The house becomes a world of dragon.

　　A red dragon hears of Lord Ye, and is deeply moved. He wants to visit Lord Ye and makes a friend with him.

　　"Hi, Mr. Ye! Nice to meet you," the real dragon comes to visit Mr. Ye runs away as fast he can. "Oh, my God! Help! Help!" he runs and shouts."

　　有個年輕人，姓葉，非常喜歡龍.他在屋裡裡面了許多許多龍。這屋子都快成了龍的世界。

　　一龍真龍聽說了葉公的事，很受感動，就想去拜訪葉公，和他交個朋友。

　　"嘿。葉先生!很高興見到你。"這條真龍拜訪葉先生了。可是葉先生飛快地逃了。忒邊跑邊喊："啊，我的天啊!救命!救命!"

　　Ye Gong was well-known for his fondness for dragons:

　　葉公喜歡龍，已經出了名了。

　　In the house where he lived, dragons were painted on the walls and carved on the pillars andthe four walls of his bedroom.

　　他住的屋子裡，牆上畫著龍，柱子上雕著龍，臥室四面的牆壁上也刻著龍。

　　There were dragons everywhere, up and down, front and back, with each dragon baring itsteeth and brandishing its claws.

　　上上下下，前前後後，到處都是龍，一條條張牙舞爪。

　　In the heavens there was a real dragon.

　　天上有一條真的龍。

　　It was very happy to hear that Ye Gong was so fond of dragons.

　　聽說葉公這樣喜歡龍，高興極了。

　　One day, the sky suddenly darkened, and then came wind, thunder and rain.

　　有一天，天空突然暗了下來，又是颳風，又是打雷，又是下雨。

　　The real dragon flew to Ye Gong's home.

　　It poked its head into the window in the south and coiled its tail to the window in the north,rocking and rattling the whole house.

　　At the sight of this real dragon, Ye Gong was frightened out of his wits.

　　He trembled all over and hurriedly hid himself.

　　A Dragon Admirer

　　A county magistrate in Chu Kingdom was called Ye Gong who was a great lover of dragons.In his house there were plenty of images of dragons.The dragons were painted or carved on walls,pillars,furniture,window lattices and ceilings.In addition,all the clothes,quilts,bed nets were trimmed with dragon esigns.

　　When the Dragon in the Heaven heard of this,he was greatly moved,deciding to visit Ye Gong.The Dragon glided down to Ye Gong’s house,poked his head into the window first,leaving his long tail out in the yard.To his great surprise,Ye

　　Gong was so frighteded by the real Dragon that he began to flee,ashen and petrified.

　　Oh,what Ye Gong liked was not the real dragon,but something resembling a dragon.
