  雅思大作文範文:論處事態度,樂觀或悲觀?

Success is achieved by those who try and keep trying with a positive mental attitude becausenothing on earth can help those with a negative mental attitude. In general, successfulpersons are opportunity-minded rather than difficulty-minded. That is to say, the pessimistsees difficulty in every opportunity; the optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.

Any fact facing us is often not as important as our attitude toward it, for that can determineour success or failure. The pessimist would visualize penalties of failure whereas the optimistwould visualize the rewards of success. It might be true sometimes that people tried hard half-way and failed miserably, from which a lesson is learned that they should not have tried at all inthe first place. Thus, after one failure, they are disappointed and discouraged, refusing tobelieve that the road to success is under construction. Since pessimists are afraid to fail, theyare not likely to experience the joys of success. More often than not, this wrong mentalattitude, or rather the fear of striking out, may hold them back.

It is certainly not the optimist's attitude toward success--always being ready as anopportunity comes. People with the right mental attitude are never scared by going too far,and they are convinced that success lies just beyond. True enough, it is not that optimistsbecome winners without encountering real problems, but that they are willing to do do whatlosers are not willing to do. In other words, optimists choose to step forward, as if it wereimpossible to fail; but pessimists are always in the same place. Therefore, both attitudes tell asuccess and a failure apart. In all likelihood, success is like the child of optimism.

It pays to assume that opportunity may be in the middle of difficulty, or at least this is whatthe optimist is inclined to believe. Indeed, success of life depends upon keeping one's mindopen to opportunity and seizing it when it comes. After all, optimists are right in believing whatthey can do and succeed; so are pessimists who think they would fail anyway.

  雅思大作文範文:幸福是什麼?如何獲得?

It has been widely noted that happiness is veryimportant to our life. However, what is happiness? Itseems difficult to define, for different people havedifferent ideas. Some people are brought up thatmost important thing in their life. They obtainhappiness from seeking fame and profit. Otherpeople are in pursuit of mental edification. Theyserve people heart and soul and find happiness from it. In my view, according to philosophy, everything is in process of development including happiness. We spare no effort to achieveour goal and obtain happiness from success. However, after that we have another new aim toachieve. There is no limit to gaining lasting happiness.

Then how to obtain happiness? I think true happiness can be got in the following ways:

In the first instance, true happiness comes from hard work. A student is very happy whenhe has gotten high score in his examinations. His happiness is the result of his hard andpatient study. Thus, happiness abounds in hard work.

Secondly, happiness is rooted in optimistic attitude. In our daily life, we should face a lot ofproblems, which may lead to setbacks. If these defeatist sentiments seize us, happiness will befar away from us. The only way is right attitude and sparing no effort to overcome it then youcan find happiness.

Last but not least, happiness comes from frugality. Many example display people spendingmoney wastefully for satisfaction of their desires may suffer from poverty in the long run. Soliving a simple and content life makes one happy and cheerful.

All in all, happiness is very important to our life. The good method to find happiness ismaking our mentality and physicality both strong.

  雅思大作文範文:人生的煩惱

The pursuit of happiness has long been the dream ofgenerations of human beings. They have alwaysbeen puzzled by the essence of happiness. What ishappiness? Is it closely related to one’s economic success? Will one’s financial success lead tohappiness directly? Personally, I don’t agree that one’s economic success is the onlyprerequisite of one’s happiness in life.

Happiness may fall into different categories. An old saying goes like this: “One man’s meat isanother man’s poison”. Happiness may mean being a successful and respected leader of acompany, or a stable and comfortable job in a large international company, or a big flatdowntown, a fantastic set of furniture, etc. However, happiness can also be a harmonious andpeaceful family, or a hospitable and considerate friend, or just a smile, a gesture, a hint. Infact, happiness may be composed of anything you could ever think of. At least, we may havetwo types of happiness: spiritual happiness and materialistic happiness.

One’s materialistic happiness is dependant on one’seconomic success, though not completely. Without astrong and steady economic background, one couldnever imagine an easy and simple life, let alone anaffluent and luxurious one. If you aren’t able toafford a house, a car, or even a book, anybodywould be horrified at the mere mention of this kindof life. Definitely, some people will feel happy rightaway if their basic demands for life are satisfied. However, we have to admit that these people stillneed to be successful materialistically to somedegree.

On the other hand, one’s success in economy may not necessarily lead to one’s spiritualhappiness. As we all know, money doesn’t get you everything and some even say that money isthe root of all evils. One’s financial success may be built on the sacrifice of time, health andlove, which are the three most essential elements of spiritual happiness. All of us are not newto this picture: a successful business man tasting loneliness alone with a broken heart.

In my point of view, one’s economic success is only one of the key factors of happiness, butnever the only one. To be happy, one needs to be both spiritually and materially satisfiedthough each of us may have a totally different picture of happiness.

  雅思大作文範文:壓力的原因及解決

Pressure is always there in some form, whetherin the workplace or in our personal lives. If you allowit to control your performance in a negative way, then it becomes stress. I would like to examine thecause of stress, which has led to many peoplestaying off job or school, and offer possible solutions as follows.

Firstly, do not overestimate your abilities. It is not uncommon that many arrogantpeople first overrate themselves before starting a task, then they stay off the job after havingfound it extremely difficult. These people are pessimistic ones. Actually if they knew who theyare they would not place themselves in this plight. Take me for example, I am an architectworking for a construction company. Whenever I am given an assignment, I would study itfor a couple of days. If it is over my head I would recommend another more capablecolleague to complete it. This is the way I am and consequently and more importantly, I neverfeel stressful at work..

Now let’s turn to academic issue. Everyone knows, stress occurs when you are beingasked to do something you are not sure whether you can do. Nowadays, a great deal ofstudents’ fears grow dramatically before the arrival of a big exam as a consequence of notbeing well prepared for it. Some of them who have flunked many times would rather drop out ofschool than suffer from humiliations and shame. I experienced tough times when I was afreshman in college. Later I discovered that sufficient preparation could provide me withconfidence when commencing exams. Therefore, I stopped attending all social activities aweek before the exam and was focused on notes taken in class. For this reason, I enjoyed myschool life ever after.

After all, we can never escape from the reality of every existence. To stay off job or schoolis the wrong attitude of which cowards deserve.
