　　Finally ushered in the New Year, my long-awaited, in the morning, I'm still lying in bed, the firecrackers outside already rise one after another, as if in the rush me: children, hurry up, with the coming of the New Year, don't be a pussy cat! So I got up immediately and put on my new clothes my mother had prepared for me. In the mirror, I saw a flying self, and I smiled at myself.

　　My mother has prepared breakfast for me. It is 10 dumplings. Mother said, I ate 10 dumplings, I was 10 years old. Tangyuan is sesame filling, fragrant and sweet, I like most. After eating the soup, my mother asked me to call my grandparents. Later, my grandmother also took us to her garden, grandmother's garden is really big! Green vegetables everywhere, we cut a big basket of vegetables and found that there was a sneaky shepherd's purse in the vegetable plot, and my mother said it was the best dumpling. 　　就在上週週日，我們海倫教育舉辦了第四屆海倫杯英語大賽，我報了英語，雖然練習不是很難，但我還是要努力複習英語，爭取考個好成績。

　　開始考試了，我非常緊張，因為我們要聽寫80個單詞和十個句子。一聲哨下，考試開始了。老師把卷子發給我們，開始念廣播，廣播要念30分鐘時間，給我們的時間並不多，所以我們要抓緊了，實際我很緊張，心裡給自己加著油，我一定要堅持到最後。

　　唸到第75個單詞的.時候，我不會了，我還沒想上五秒鐘，老師就開始念下一個單詞了，我只能把這個單詞放棄了。但下一個單詞很少，我們還有15秒寫的時間，於是我用多餘的時間來把上一個單詞補了，考試在一分一秒地進行著，同學們都非常緊張，也非常認真。老師瞪著一雙大眼睛，走來走去地盯著我們，臺下的我們當然不敢抄襲了。突然，老師說還剩十分鐘了，我們都開始檢查卷子了，因為這次報名花費了五十元，所以我非常認真地在檢查，檢查了一遍又一遍，檢查出了三個錯誤。我剛把錯誤改好，老師突然又說：“同學們，該交卷了。”老師的一句話把我驚呆了，時間過得好快呀！

　　想再檢查幾遍的我只好交了卷，走出教室，向回家的方向走去。心裡暗暗的想，我一定要得名次，一定要打進決賽，我一定要得獎。為媽媽爭光，為自己爭氣，不要讓老師失望。
