英語兩分鐘演講稿1
Self-Confidence Is Essential to Success.
Nothing succeeds like confidence. When you are truly confident,it radiates from you like sunlight, and attracts success to you like a magnet.
Its important to believe in yourself.Believe that you can do it under any circumstances, because if you believe you can, then you really will. The belief keeps you searching for answers, which means that pretty soon you will get them.
Confidence is more than an attitude. It comes from knowing exactly where you are going and exactly how you are going to get there. It comes from acting with integrity and confidence. It comes from a strong sense of purpose. It comes from a strong commitment to take responsibility, rather than just letting life happen.
One way to develop self-confidence is to do the thing you fear and to get a record of successful experiences behind you.
Confidence is compassionate and understanding. It is not arrogant. Arrogance is born out of fear and insecurity, while confidence comes from strength and integrity.
Confidence is not just believing you can do it. Confidence is knowing you can do it.Know that you are capable of accomplish anything you want, and live your life with confidence.

A King who didt have children wanted an honest boy to be his inheritant.
He told all the boys who wanted to be chosen“Today I give each of you a seed, after three monthes, the boy who gets the most beatiful flower will be my inheritant."Three monthes passed, all the clever and bright boys took their beatiful flowers to flatter the King except one boy having nothing in his pot with his eyes full of tears. The boy said to the King:“My honorable King,I water it every day, feed her carefully, even when sleeping,I didnt let it away from me,but I can get nothing in the end.”
The King laughed:"You can get nothing,my honest prince, because what I have given to you is burned seeds!"

Lost time is never found again. This is something which I learned very clearly last semester. I spent so much time fooling around that my grades began to suffer. I finally realized that something had to be done. It was time for a change.
Now I have a new plan for using my time wisely. I have set my alarm clock ahead half an hour. This will give me a head start on the day. I have also decided to keep a log of what I do and when I do it. Looking back on what I’ve done will give me some ideas on how to reorganize my time.

Work and play do not contradict each other; in fact, they complement each other. As the saying goes, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy." A life burdened with work leads you nowhere, for you would get tired and bored with your daily routine work. On the other hand, proper recreation will relieve the tension and discomfort of our monotonous life because it offers you various ways to let out your pent-up emotions.
What I usually do to relax after school is jogging and seeing movies. Usually I don#39;t spare time for exercise, but I value the physical education class at school. Jogging several rounds in the field certainly relieves the day#39;s pressure. On weekends,ll catch the morning movie for my visual enjoyment. I feel revived and energetic for another week; work-load.

as two men were about to be sent into prison, the warden let each of them make a demand. the american loved smoking, so he wanted three boxes of cigars; while the jew said all he needed was a telephone to contact with people outside of the prison. two years later, the first out was the american who still had many cigars in his hands and pockets but was crying: “give me some matches!” then the jew walked out, he shook hands with the warden and said: “thank you for the phone, it made my business increase by 200%.”
what do you think of this story? life today is what you’ve decided years ago, and so is the future: your decisions today will affect your destiny years later. now i have two things to choose from: to go abroad, to find myself a decent job after graduation or to further my study as a postgraduate. i haven’t worked out an answer to this question yet, but i know that whatever i do will directly affect my future.
an indian once said life is just like a game of cards, the cards in your hand represent opportunities, while the way you play decides the result you’ll get. looking back in history, during world war ⅱ, churchill who led the british people resolved to expect “blood, toil, tears and sweat”. they won the victory then. today shenzhou 5 took the first chinese astronaut into space. i am sure that later there’ll be more spacecrafts, like shenzhou 6,7 and 8
so what does the future look like? no one can tell. but i know the choice is yours, the future is now. make good use of everyday, a man can achieve greater successes, a country can gain prosperity and the whole world can be united, as it has never been before.
