再別康橋英文翻譯

　　再別康橋

　　此詩寫於1928年11月6日，初載1928年12月10日《新月》月刊第1卷第10號，署名徐志。康橋，即英國著名的劍橋大學所在地。1920年10月—1922年8月，詩人曾遊學於此。康橋時期是徐志一生的轉折點。詩人在《猛虎集·序文》中曾經自陳道：在24歲以前，他對於詩的興味遠不如對於相對論或民約論的興味。正是康河的水，開啟了詩人的心靈，喚醒了久蟄在他心中的詩人的天命。因此他後來曾滿懷深情地說：“我的眼是康橋教我睜的'，我的求知慾是康橋給我撥動的，我的自我意識是康橋給我胚胎的。”(《吸菸與文化》)

　　1928年詩人故地重遊。11月6日在歸途的中國南海上，他吟成了這首傳世之作。這首詩最初刊登在1928年12月10日《新月》月刊第1卷10號上，後收入《猛虎集》。可以說“康橋情節”貫穿在徐志一生的詩文中，而《再別康橋》無疑是其中最有名的一篇。

　　Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again

　　Very quietly I take my leave

　　As quietly as I came here;

　　Quietly I wave good-bye

　　To the rosy clouds in the western sky.

　　The golden willows by the riverside

　　Are young brides in the setting sun;

　　Their reflections on the shimmering waves

　　Always linger in the depth of my heart.

　　The floating heart growing the sludge

　　Sways leisurely under the water;

　　In the gentle waves of Cambridge

　　I would be a water plant!

　　That pool under the shade of elm trees

　　Holds not water but the rainbow from the sky;

　　Shattered to pieces among the duck weeds

　　Is the sediment of a rainbow-like dream?

　　To seek a dream?

　　Just to pole a boat upstream

　　To where the green grass is more verdant

　　Or to have the boat fully loaded with starlight

　　And sing aloud in the splendor of starlight.

　　But I can’t sing aloud

　　Quietness is my farewell music;

　　Even summer insects heap silence for me

　　Silent is Cambridge tonight!

　　輕輕的我走了，

　　正如我輕輕的來;

　　我輕輕的招手，

　　作別西天的雲彩。

　　那河畔的金柳，

　　是夕陽中的新娘;

　　波光裡的豔影，

　　在我的心頭盪漾。

　　軟泥上的青⑴，

　　油油的在水底招搖⑵;

　　在康河的柔波里，

　　甘心做一條水草!

　　那蔭下的一潭，

　　不是清泉，是天上虹;

　　揉碎在浮藻間，

　　沉澱著彩虹似的夢。

　　尋夢?撐一支長篙⑶，

　　向青草更青處漫溯⑷;
