飄英語讀後感 篇1
Recently,I have just finished reading a famous novel written by Margaret mitchellGone with the Wind, which is one of the most popular works among American novels. It took the auther about 10 years to finish this great novel, the only novel in her life.
The story happened during the Civil War eve.Scarlett O"Hara,a 16-year-old girl, who was living in Tala manor in Georgia, was loving her neighbor Ashley Wilkes. However, after the war have broken out, Ashley Wilkes married his yonger cousin Melanie. Scarlett was so angry that she decided to marry a man she didn’t really love---- Charles Hamilton. Not long after that, Charles Hamilton joined the Army and died of illness in the war.So Scarlett had to act as a widow.Afterwards,at a donating dance party,Scarlett is acquainted with a captain named Rhett Butler. Then the flames of war approached Atlanta.Everyone was busy leaving away from the war.Scarlett managed to escape from Atlanta with the help of captain Rhett.Having come back to Tala manor,Scarlett made up her mind to rally her homeland at any cost when she saw that the former manor had been ruined.Later, her second husband died in the fight, she was a widow again.Durling that time, Rhett had been loving Scarlett sincerely and warmly.Seeing that Rhett could help her rally the manor,Scarlett married him.Although Rhett had similar characteristic attracting her,Scarlett still loved Ashley.Later, their only daughter died accidently,Rhett left Scarlett sorrowly. And then Scarlett realized that Rhett was the only one who could fall in love with her.
The novel takes the US Civil War as the background. It takes Scarlett’s individual activity as the thread. The book show us a tragic love story .A couple who could have a perfect future, but finnally go in opposite direction. As a matter of fact, their charactristics have decided their tragic result inevitably. We feel sorry about the end because we are looking forward to a perfect end, just like Scarlett and Rhett. In fact, ferfect is always a excessive damand.
I affirm Rhett. He brings excitement to Scarlett’s life and encourages her impulse to change and succeed.Like Scarlett,he goes after what he wants and refuses to take ‘no’ for an answer. He is humorous, intelligent and cynical with a hint of treason. He is really a respectable man.I think he finnally left because of love .Otherwise,he couldn’t have gone without hesitation.
Ashley Wilkes is the foil to Rhett’s dark, realistic opportunism. If there was no Civil War,he is surely a nobility of grace and charm. But history cannot be changed. He bocame a victim of the war.His era was gone with the defeat of the war.At the same time,we cannot deny the fact that he had a chear understanding about reality, which just contribute to his tragedy.
In this book, what I appreciate most is not Melanie’skindness or Rheet’s dedication and patience, but Scarlett’s courage to throw her long-standing morality and tradition whe faced with diffiiculties. At the beginning of the war,she didn’t care about this.In her world are endless dinner parties and dance parties. In her body are her father’s brave Irish blood and her mother’s noble French pure blood. She had a vast farm as her home. She had hundreds of slaves. This is Scarlett.,a member of noblity, proud and different. However, the war changed everything. Her mother died of illness. Her father become silent and the farm was nearly deserted.Even food became a big problem. All the pressure was put on Scarlett’s shoulder. She must feed a family of 9 people in it.What a big difference of level. If all this happened to someone else,he or she may choose to escape. On the contrary,Scarlett choose to face the change of life bravely. How can we not admire her courage of to change herself.Life is like a mountain. The road can’t be completely smooth. When we fall down from the peak,we may get hert ,we may get disappointed,we may feel despair. But if you want to survive, you must stand up to face it.
It is obvious that 《Gone with the wind》 is really a good book, even if a long time has passed away,it is still suitable for today’s society. It is of great importance to change ourselves, change our value even our thoughts when our life chages.
On the other hand,I think there is no real perfect in the world.Everybody has his shortcomings. It is necessary for us to learn to forgive others’ faults. If we keep good-tempered,Ibelieve there will be more comedy and less tragedy.
飄英語讀後感 篇2
I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.
I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. However, the moment I finished it, near midnight in a sweltering August day, with my body poured with sweat, held my breath to turn the last page over, shut the book and hea一ved a sigh of relief, I just could not express how I felt. All were over: trouble was over; lives were over; hopes were over. I was shocked how such a small book could contain such a complicated story. Never were wars, diseases and starvation ever nakedly exposed to me like this. The turns in plots were surprising but natural.
It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. We always lose something unconsciously and then feel regretful when we need them later.
Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.
“Land is the only thing in the world that amounts to anything, for ‘this the only thing in this world that lasts, and don’t you be forgetting it’ this the only thing worth working for, worth fighting for——worth dying for.” Said Gerald, an Irish man who loved his soil more than his own life, let us know that life can be born out of land.
“But Scarlett, did it ever occur to you that even the most deathless love could wear out? Mine wore out, against Ashley Wilkes and your insane obstinacy that makes you hold on like a bulldog to anything you think about.”
“Scarlett, I was never one to patient pick up broken fragment glue them together and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken——and I’d rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.” Said Rett Butler, a man who love Scalett as much as a man can love a woman. Loving her for years before he finally got her, he loved her crazily but did not let her know it for fear of being hurt. But at last he still could not escape from hurts. “My dear, I don’t give a damn.” Look, he did not care about it at all. He was a man who disguised himself so much.
“I mustn’t bawl; I mustn’t beg. I mustn’t do anything risk his contempt. He must respect me even——even if he doesn’t love me.”
“I’ll think of it all tomorrow, at Tara. I can stand it then. Tomorrow, I’ll think some way to get him back. After all, tomorrow is another day.”
Said Scalett O’hara, the most wonderful woman I’ve ever seen. She was hard and greedy and unscrupulous, a bra一ve, frightened, bull-headed child. Though she only thought about how to attract man’s attention and did not do anything useful before the war, she did surprise me when I read about her doings after the war. At that time, her Tara was just reduced to ashes. Everyone sketched out their hands and asked her for food. She bra一vely faced the reality and rebuilt Tara with her own hands. What a tough woman, I thought. Though those she loved were all gone, she was still full of hope. When Rett didn’t love her anymore and wanted to lea一ve her, she said “I mustn’t bawl… even if he doesn’t love me.” A woman’s dignity could be seen from what she ha一ve said and done. That’s why I appreciate her.
This novel ga一ve me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.
The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.
That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

Scarlett , a very personality figures ,the two mans she love ,neither does she know about. To her, I was compelled to admire, admire her strong and brave, admire her to lay down in the environment, farm workers previously suffered education, admire her to disregard the community to create their own expression of the cause .She is in the whole story, all a person full of fighting will full of vitality . I appreciated most , it is this " Tomorrow is another day of hers. " . Promising forever, full of fighting will , will never give up, never desperate. I think Im moved by her.So, whenever I meet difficulty, the mood is not good, I will tell oneself : " Tomorrow is another day. " Gone with the Wind is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on U.S.A.s Civil War is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.
Author: Antoine de St-Exupery
Main Characters: The little prince, the pilot, the rose, the fox, the snake, etc.
Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.
As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.
On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Recently, I have read the famous novel “Gone with The Wind” by Margaret Mitchell. Each character in this book gave me a great impression.
At beginning of the book, I think Scarlet was a beautiful, lucky woman. So many young men were in love with her and they always stayed around her. But in fact ,Scarlet was not the lucky woman I thought . She was fell in love with Ashley Wilkes, but the man was not like the other boys around her. when then news came that Ashley would be married with Melanie ,she felt surprised and even couldn’t accept the fact. With the psychology of revenging Ashley, Scarlett married to Melanie’s brother before the day of Ashley’wedding.
Soon after the war broke out , many young man died ,including Scarlett’s husband. Scarlett became a widow. She couldn’t stand the boring life, so when Melanie invited her to the home of Charles’s aunt. Without more consideration ,Scarlett left for Atlanta.
One time hospital hold a party to collect contributions. Then at the party ,she met Rhett buther, the man who loves her at first sight. Although Scarlett didn’t show any good feeling to him, Rhett buther always companied her and made her happy. For several reasons, she married again, but Rhett still loved her. When her second husband died, he asked Scarlett married him. Because he believed that he understoodher and he can bring her happy. After several month ,they got married. Their life became better and happier. Later they had a litte daughter, Bonnie. Rhett loved his lovely daughter just like the way he loved Scarlett. But Scarlett still loved Ashley. Unfortunitily, Bonnie died when she rided the horse. Rhett was hurt so badly that he couldn’t stand living with Scarlett, and he decided to leave. At this time she realised that the man she really loved was Rhett, not Ashley. She tried hard to persuard Rhett not to leave her. He left .I think it was a pity, but it doomed. Although Rhett love her so much ,he could do everything to make her happy, but she never opened her heart to him and tried to understand him.
Although Scarlett’s love was end up with tragedy. But from her attitude for life,we could know that she was a strong woman.she never gave up facing endless difficulties.when the war was terrible, everything was in confusion ,Scarlett had to take Melanie left back to home, the Tara Plantation. Hopefully she wanted her parent’s help. But to her surprise, her mum had died and her father was out of normal. Situation have became more difficult. While Melanie was going to give birth to a baby. Scarlet made her mind on taking on the task. In order to keep living ,Scarlett even went to work on farm ,she planted cotton. Melanie was in poor health, but she still went to help Scarlett to do farm work. She believed Scalett and gave her unselfish love. With Menlanie’s love,Scarlett supported her home, but at this time ,she still didn’t realize how important Melanie for her. In order to solve the problem of the Tara plantation, she married to Frank. In order to make a living she also did business which was unbelievable for women in this time. She struggled with countless difficulties, but she never gave up. She still believed “Tomorrow is a new day”。
Another girl that I loved in this book is Melanie, she was very kind and gentle. She never doubted the relationship between Scarlett and Ashley, she always standed in the side of Scarlett. Although Scarlett hated her and even wanted her to die. She still believed Scalett and treated Scarlett as her best friend. Melanie loved her husband ,when her husband was fighting in the war, she always waited for him. She didn’t have the strength to give birth, but she still wanted to have a baby for Ashley, finally, she died.
These three main characters in the book are all very obvious, but different. They gave me a impression. Scarlett was a plain girl, but what she did was not plain. She didn’t stay silent during the war, she changed her own life by strugling. In fact, many people lost what they have like Scarlett, but they all gave up to strive for the happiness that essentially belonged to them. Scarlett have the braveness to change the situation. But the pity was that she didn’t recognize the real love belong her in time. If she could got deep understanding of Ashley, she may not love him. If she could open her heart to Rhett and understand him, she may realized her love to Rhett. Sometimes I couldn’t help thinking that why the author can write this moved story. Maybe she have the similar experiences.
On the whole, this is a wonderful book, I feel very grateful that I can read it. I could get many benefits from it.
飄英語讀後感 篇5
Reading a good book can affect a person forever. After reading the book gone with the wind, I was really inspired and benefited from the light. The book, whether it is a beautiful flowing language description or a vivid characterization of the characters, has reached its peak. It is the gem of world literature. Among them, the heroines love view, make me feel quite deep.
Scarlett, the remarkable character born in the turbulent years of the United States, her excellent personality radiates infinite light. She is brave, strong, optimistic, hard to live and never give in. She is very vigorous and smart. The most striking thing is her obsession with love. She has an angelic face and a shapely figure -- a goose, a moon, and a moon, in the words of a beautiful woman in ancient China -- and how many young men fall in love with her. But she doesnt care about these things. Shes crazy about love. But out of desperation, she married two people she didnt like. When she saw her beloved ASHLEY again, she still loved him madly like a teenage girl, and was desperate to pour out his love to him. This reminds me of another way of expression of the womens loyalty to love in feudal China. In the case of "southeast peacock", for example, a couple of men and women should be married to love, and their love is closely related to marriage. "You are a rock, a concubine like a reed, a reed like a silk, a rock without a move." When their love suffers other peoples destruction, in order to show their dedication to love, they only have "from the southeast branch". But scarlett is different, in her love view, love and marriage can be separated, or a spiritual and physical separation. Drop everything she doesnt care about each other some marriage, bold to love ASHLEY, fight for their own happiness, she does not love set on etiquette, the shackles of moral, her love is always free. This may be due to cultural differences between the east and the west. The nature of love is not changed by the way it is expressed.
Scarletts half life was also confused by love. He did a lot of wrong because of his confusion. She found out that ASHLEY didnt love her and was not as good as she thought she was. She loved not ASHLEY, but a perfect image of her heart. The more ASHLEY refused her, her heart of the image, the more perfect - this is an old saying: is the best way to get it - but because she mistakes, to make her wrong side real happiness. This also gives me a lesson: people should learn to distinguish right from wrong, dont let happiness slip through their fingers.
Thankfully, in scarletts love in the world there is nothing as of late, when she completely lose ASHLEY, lost daughter, her husband rhett has left her, she realised that she really loved is rhett, she throw psychic trauma and regret, believe in yourself can the heart of rhett. "Tomorrow is another day anyway!" If many people can have this optimistic and confident attitude towards love, then many love tragedies will not happen.
On the days of reading "gone with the wind," how many times have I been happy, noisy, sad, laughing. Several xus sadness, several xus happiness, several xus feelings, several xus wonder. The hidden interest, left behind is a strong shock and a lifetime of emotion.
飄英語讀後感 篇6
"Gone with the wind", a novel by American writer Margaret Mitchell, is one of my favorite books. I like scarletts brave and brave, like rhetts quick and decisive, like Melanies outside soft.
I felt ambivalent about scarlett, but I hated and had to admire her. I admire her for her strong, admire her persistence for land, admire her can in the education of environment down had had changed work, admire her can disregard social comments on and start my own business. She is beautiful and willful, not a popular person. She would play tricks, but she was tough, she was passionate, she was a lovely woman. She likes the happiness and the rich life, she has been pursuing her ideal love. But destiny is not so simple. She was a very personable figure, and she had loved two men in her life, and she had not known one. If she knew ASHLEY, she would not love him; If she knew rhett, she wouldnt lose him. Shes been living up to rhett, and shes just chasing the prince of her dreams -- ASHLEY. She just thought that ASHLEY had it, she just made a gorgeous dress that ASHLEY put on and fell in love with him. And the truth is, she just loves that dress.
Scarletts life has several souls, one of her mother. Her mother was a very capable, gentle and typical lady, who she admired most. However, the mother died of typhoid fever to save her life. The other, ASHLEY, was her favorite for more than a decade. She was able to stand up in the face of adversity, in large part because of ASHLEY. She was very dedicated to ASHLEY. And one, Melanie. For more than a decade, Melanie had become an indispensable part of her life.
I think each of us will have our own desires, and everyone is pursuing their own happiness. Desire can be a motivation for us. This desire leads to the development of culture and technology, which also leads to crime and war. Desire is very important to us. We will pursue our own happiness, although we will encounter many difficulties and disputes, but we should not give up our own desires and pursuits. As she said: "I am too tired to think today. Think about it tomorrow! We can rest, but we must not give up.
飄英語讀後感 篇7
"Gone with the wind" was a surprise, too, in the school library, where it was found to be interesting. I read the book of Margaret Mitchell, which seemed a little familiar, and turned a few pages of interest. Perhaps the book is connected with the book, inexplicable love let me love it. So I borrowed the book from the school. But when I finished reading this book, I was deeply impressed by a woman in the book, scarlett o hara.
Of course, I saw not only the bumpy fate of scarlett, but also the distress and the hardships of life at the time of the war. I read about people fighting for the death list, some tears of joy, some pain. The extreme face left a deep impression on me. Scarlett several people after days more painful, when the yankees to fight against to scarletts small town, she asked for his "rival" Melanie midwives, follow after rhett face dusty, no image with the newly production Melanie and a black girl back to her tara. But there was no grand architecture, no money, not even the most basic food and drink. This time, I saw another scarlett, although no before the outbreak of the war she was still a capricious, selfish, not big miss, but now the perfect in my eyes is not as other novel heroine now surprisingly strong. She took up the burden of eating and drinking, taking care of Melanie, the servant, and the father who had dementia. I know that her favorite mother died of cholera. The mental and physical blows that made this spectator look so painful. The despair is from scarletts heart, even the word spread to my mood - scarlett needed by his own power used up all the way the family to eat and drink and not persecuted by the war. Shes not a soldier, but shes also going to kill her.
Under the necessity of life, scarlett had to marry another man she did not love for three hundred dollars. , at that time the society really messy, just like the name of the book - "gone with the wind", as if for a moment scarlett happy life by war disrupted, all broken down, and go with the wind, all people are forced to face the harsh reality. As again immersed in their own past, in the murky societies will be like the dead in the war, pulp, scarred, can no longer be back with family members said: "Im back."
In a closely connected story, I was attracted by the tortuous love story and the reality of life and death. More importantly, I saw a womans recalcitrant, brave, a war of terror, the destruction of people. Novel reveals the authors sympathy of slave owners, the disappointment of post-war reconstruction and the old system and the slave owners be regret of the past years, and by war, scarlett and rhett I saw love. It was just that, to my sigh, scarlett had hurt rhett in the end, and she still let rhett leave because she still loved ASHLEY. When she knew she loved rhett, rhett was no longer with her.
Thankfully, scarlett kept her own unique piece of the positive, and she said, "leave it to tomorrow." Anyway, tomorrow is another day... "Scarletts strong, undejected spirit gave me endless reflections. Vivid characters, deep thinking, and overwhelmed plot, which is the charm of this book, is not boring. If you think about it, you will always feel that the story and the woman named scarlett o hara are touching.
Scarlett, gone with the wind, let me know that the sun will still come the next day, whether we want it or not.
飄英語讀後感 篇8
Even the most undying love will pass away. My love has been exhausted.
- rhett
For thousands of years, what is love? Even the philosopher could not discuss it. If love is defined, like a mathematical formula, then the worlds men and women can take their seats, without the tragedy of gone with the wind.
I admire scarlett, who dares to hate and dare to pursue what she pursues. In the high society where she lives, most people do it, so you have to do it, a little bit differently, to be seen as rebellious or even sinful. In that only is the age of men in business, scarlett as a women should be home xiangfujiaozi, she used her sharp mind, in business to make a result, better than any man should be, so to speak. She also ignores what others say, how to talk about her, she has her persistence! In the American civil war, she was a fine woman!
But in a world of affection, she was like a child, obsessed with what she wanted, and disdained what she had. One side is desperately trying to make oneself happy, one side ceaselessly pushes the happiness away, push lover toward the abyss. ASHLEY loved Melanie, but he didnt really understand until after her death. And scarlett, in his vague manner, waited for him. If he could have known it earlier, she would have been able to extricated herself from the first time scarlett had told her to love him. As she said, even the pain can survive. But its too late! And scarlett, if she knew that she had been in love with rhett before she knew it, there was room for manoeuvre, and she would not have gone to a dead end.
The two of them (scarlett, ASHLEY) have a common characteristic, they love a person without knowing, do not know to cherish. Especially scarlett, rhett gave her the chance again and again, and she, as rhett had said, was as stubborn as a stubborn child. He loved scarlett, but he knows more about scarlett, so he never says, just through action, while scarlett always use other peoples love for her to translate into a whip, a little love her man, and never want to understand him. In the end, he despaired, and disappointment again and again made him never have the courage to try again. He was tired. In the end, his love for her was exhausted. She was too late to repent. His heart is dead. When his daughter left him, his heart would never come back. He said that he had never had the patience to sewn up the broken things, and to tell himself that it was just like new, deceiving himself. Broken is broken, can never go back again, even if fixed, above still left cracks, no longer is the original.
Who dragged scarlett out of her widowed depression? Who was it that indulged scarletts permissiveness and unjustifiable trouble over and over again? Who always appears at the most critical moment, calmly calm everything. Rhett waited patiently for scarlett to grow up, but scarlett waited so foolishly for ASHLEY to grow up. Money did not disappoint rhett, but scarlett made rhett desperate.
I dont know, one at the end who knows that he is deeply in love with the person who has been deeply in love with her, and that person decides to leave her forever, what kind of mood would that be? Helplessness, confusion, pain, regret, or heartbreak? In any case, that feeling must be bad!
